A good weekend for Lauren Walsh saw her notch a top-10 finish at the Amundi German Masters.
Walsh carded a final round of 70 to climb into 8th place on six-under, six shots behind eventual winner Alexandra Forsterling.
The Castlewarden woman recovered from an opening bogey six with three birdies on the 3rd, 6th and 9th to turn in 34.
Walsh double bogeyed the par-5 13th but finished strong with back-to-back birdies on 16 and 17.
Local favourite Forsterling got the better of Austria’s Emma Spitz in a playoff after both players couldn’t be separated after 72 holes on twelve-under after rounds of 67.
Olivia Mehaffey finished in a share of 60th place on ten-over.
