Brussels: Amidst the Russia-Ukraine war, Germany has given a big warning to Moscow. German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock on Friday accused Russia of carrying out cyber attacks targeting her country and warned that it will have to pay the price. Germany said that it would not abandon Russia. The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and the European Union also supported Germany on this issue and said that they will not let Russia’s ‘malicious’ activity in the cyber world go just like that.

Meanwhile, Germany fears cyber attacks from Russia. Germany’s Foreign Minister has alleged that Russian government hackers were involved in a cyber attack targeting the Social Democrats, the main party in the country’s coalition government, last year. Germany is preparing to give a strong reply to this.
Germany suspects Russia of cyber attack
At a press conference held in Adelaide city of Australia, he said, “Russian government hackers are responsible for the attack in Germany’s cyber world.” He said, “We can say that the APT28 group carried out this attack which “This is obviously intolerable and unacceptable, and there will be consequences,” Baerbock said.
