Les Bleus to edge it
France and Germany go head-to-head this weekend as both teams prepare for the forthcoming European Championship, which will be hosted by the Germans this summer.
Les Bleus have been a fabulous team to watch in the past few years and were unlucky to be defeated in the 2022 World Cup final by Argentina.
Germany have been inconsistent of late and are still yet to find their best team with recent defeats to Austria and Turkey leaving many supporters worried about this summer’s tournament, despite home advantage.
The star players at France’s disposal include Kylian Mbappe, Antoine Griezmann and Theo Hernandez, and in games their class is often blindingly obvious.
While we expect this to be a close affair, we cannot see the Germans stopping the French attacking talent, especially away from home.
France vs Germany tip 1: France to win @ 4/5 with BetMGM
Mbappe can shine
Kylian Mbappe, simply sensational for France this season, has netted 24 goals in 24 Ligue 1 matches for Paris Saint-Germain this term.
He has scored six goals in his previous four international appearances, including a brace against the Netherlands away from home.
Mbappe did not play in the previous friendly against Germany, and will be keen to get on the park this time and show why he is one of the best players in the world.
The Germans have remarkably failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their past 10 games – and if anyone can take advantage of that, it is Mbappe.
France vs Germany tip 2: Kylian Mbappe to score anytime @ 5/4 with BetMGM
Look out for Musiala
The young talent that is Jamal Musiala has been a star for Bayern Munich this term, and has notched up 15 assists in the past two Bundesliga campaigns.
With the German national side he is yet to show his full quality – and they will surely need the prodigy known as Bambi, because of his prodigious dribbling ability, to display all his skills if they are to hit the heights they are aiming for this summer.
This is an opportunity to prove himself against one of the top teams globally, and he will be desperate to take that chance.
Musiala can be influential against some of the best, and at a price of 7/1 we think it is worth backing the German-born 21-year-old – who previously represented England at under-21 level – to get an assist.
France vs Germany tip 3: Jamal Musiala 1+ assist @ 7/1 with BetMGM
